重点大学建设与青年精英的国家认同

      重点大学建设是否造就了认同国家的青年精英?这是一个极具理论与实践意义的学术议题。从 理论层面看,利益认同、制度认同和文化认同是建构国家认同的主要途径,而重点大学相比一般大学更有优 势。基于首都大学生成长追踪调查数据的经验分析表明:毕业于重点大学的青年精英,对国家整体发展状 况的满意度更高,对发展前景也更为乐观,说明重点大学建设对青年精英的国家认同产生了积极显著的影 响。上述发现为我们了解重点大学在青年精英国家认同养成中发挥的作用提供了经验证据,也对新时代的 “双一流”建设有重要的启示意义。
英文摘要
      Has the construction of key universities created young elites who identify with the country? This academic issue has great theoretical and practical significance. Theoretically, interest identification, institutional identification, and cultural identification are the three main ways to construct national identity.Key universities have advantages over common universities at creating young elites with those three identifications. The empirical analyses based on the data from Beijing College Students Panel Survey showed that young elites who graduated from the key universities were more satisfied with the overall development of the country and more optimistic about the development prospects compared to the students who graduated from the lower-tier universities. This indicates that the key universities have a positive and significant impact on the development of the national identity of young elites. Our findings provide empirical evidence to understand the role of higher education in the cultivation of national identity, which has important implications for the "Double First-Class" construction movement in the new era.
