In recent years, desirable developments have been made in the study of educational anthropology. So far, its application has triggered fruitful achievements in the fields of ethnology, cultural studies and educational research. Based on a review of the achievements acquired, the development of educational anthropology in China is till at its preliminary stage with weak discipline and low-level application. The paper highlights the practical value of educational anthropology in contemporary society, and elaborates on the appeal of application research of educational anthropology from the perspective of social, cultural and educational development and research. |
